Allied Consulting and Environmental Services,
LLC (ACES) provides commonly needed environmental consulting services. The easy answer if . . .
If you are buying a piece of property:
We can perform a Phase I environmental assessment. This is a physical inspection of the property and research into the property history, including any past environmental issues. It is intended to determine the potential existence of soil contamination, groundwater quality issues, hazardous substances, underground storage tanks, chemical residues, asbestos building materials, hazardous substances stored on site, and similar environmental liabilities. Contact us to learn more about how this due diligence activity can better inform your purchase decision and protect you against future liability.
If you are renovating an existing building:
Renovation activities will usually require removal of existing materials or will require drilling, sanding, or damaging existing materials. Before performing these activities, we can test for asbestos containing materials (ACM) and lead based paint (LBP). Both can be detrimental to your health, and once disturbed they linger in the air, land on other materials as a fine dust, and are constantly circulated by your heating and cooling ducts. If not properly handled, these hazardous fibers are a health issue to both the construction workers and the occupants of the home or building. (This same testing should also be performed before demolishing a home or building.)
We strive to exceed your expectations!
